Welcome to Headwaters of Healing: A Space for Honest, Hopeful Growth
Starting therapy is a courageous step. Whether you’re navigating a painful life transition, feeling stuck in old patterns, or simply longing for more clarity and connection, I want you to know you're not alone. At Headwaters of Healing, my hope is to offer a grounded, compassionate, and thoughtful space where real change and deep healing can begin.
Many of the individuals and couples I work with are high-functioning, capable people who are used to managing a lot. They’re often the ones others count on. But inside, there’s often a quiet struggle: feelings of emptiness, disconnection, or overwhelm that aren’t always easy to name or explain. Maybe you're finding that the ways you’ve always coped just aren’t working anymore. Maybe your relationships are feeling strained, or your emotions feel too close to the surface, or not close enough.
If this resonates, you're not alone. So many people carry emotional burdens they’ve never had the chance to unpack, with stress or grief that never quite healed, or past experiences that still shape their present in unseen ways. Sometimes, the pain points show up in a marriage or partnership. Other times, they show up as anxiety, burnout, or a persistent sense of not being “enough.”
A Whole-Person Approach to Healing
Therapy at Headwaters of Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. I draw from evidence-based modalities like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to support individuals, couples, and families in uncovering the deeper needs and patterns beneath their struggles.
I also offer options like Walk and Talk Therapy, which invites the healing power of nature and movement into the therapy process, and Spiritual Direction for clients seeking a space to explore their spirituality or integrate faith into their healing journey.
My background as a former pharmacist also informs my work with clients navigating complex mental health needs. While I no longer practice pharmacy, this experience helps me better understand the mind-body connection, especially for clients managing medication alongside therapy.
And for those impacted by spiritual trauma or experiences of narcissistic abuse, I offer a trauma-informed, attuned, and validating space for rebuilding trust in yourself, in others, and sometimes, even in faith.
Begin Wherever You Are
You don’t have to be in crisis to begin therapy. And you don’t need to have all the answers to get started. Sometimes, it’s enough to simply know that something needs to change and to be open to what healing could look like.
